It all started with a post it note.

One day during one of the various economic downturns my province has experienced I realized that I wanted to start up my own HR agency. Although I didn't believe the time was just right I wrote out my goals/values on a yellow post-it note and kept it on my desk under my candle for the next several years. In 2020 I was given the opportunity to look into launching my plans due to a company wide restructure. I made the first step to incorporate the company name in June 2020 and received my first assignment shortly after. 

I was born and raised in Calgary, AB and have watched the city grow and evolve. I attended the University of Calgary attaining a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree majoring in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. During my final year I turned my attention to career opportunities available to Psychology Graduates. I started a part-time job in Human Resources and never looked back. In 2004 I attained my Certificate in Human Resources from Mount Royal.

I was very lucky during the early years of my career as Calgary was bountiful in job opportunities and I gained diverse generalist HR experience. Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to work with and learn from many amazing professionals and tradespeople.

I’ve worked in the engineering, environmental, energy services, rentals, manufacturing and hospitality/entertainment industries.
